SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF MENICOCAPSULAR SEPARATION OF THE KNEE JOINT

Background: Meniscocapsular separations are longitudinal tears at the meniscocapsular junction of posterior horn medial meniscus. They commonly associated with ACL-deficient knee, both in acute and chronic setting, their incidence increasing time from injury. difficult to diagnose preoperatively, one must have a high index suspicion setting ACL tear. Objective: To highlighten special entity meniscal injuries “meniscocapsular separation”. Patients Methods: This study included 10 patients separation treated between November 2014 May 2019.
